The girls and I enjoyed a glorious day in the PA countryside at Camp Sankanac with our COMPASS group earlier in the week (Tuesday, May 3). (COMPASS is our home school co-op.) First we enjoyed a short group time about plants...it was also a devotional parallel for our life with Christ...nicely done and meaningful. Then the kids broke up into groups and headed off to learn more about plants and enjoy a nature hike. Meanwhile, the ladies hung out on lawn chairs and blankets and enjoyed uninterrupted conversation...a rare treat and blessing :)

Then it was time for a hayride. I passed on climbing into the hay wagon and being pulled around on bumpy roads...considering that I was almost 38 weeks pregnant :) I happily waved to the girls...and then sat down again.

The girls very favorite part came after the hayride...rowboats out on French Creek. Once again, I bowed out of the fun and just took pictures. My dear friend, Christina, bravely manned a rowboat so our kids could enjoy the creek...thanks so very much, Christina...it was the highlight of their day!

It was a delightful day...fabulous fun and friends...wonderful weather...and our Glorious God!
Have a blessed day~
