Five a Day, the Birthday Way!

We spent much of Bella's birthday at Linvilla Orchard's blueberry festival.  It was fun!

Yummy, delicious blueberries~

We always have a nice time there.  There's just something really fun about picking your own fruit :)

Bella was doing a "quality control" test...this peach passed!

Peaches~

Awesome, huge tomatoes...mine at home never grow this big~
Apricot tree...fruit, fruit everywhere!
Finding the perfect strawberries!
The girls love the hayride...that's how Linvilla transports their guests to the different picking areas.

Going to pick fruit~

Here's a picture of our "haul" on Saturday...yummy!

Getting our 5 a day:  peaches, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, and apricots!
We also enjoyed checking out the animals.

There were two of these sweet baby fawns...so cute!
And the girls got to enjoy a special pony ride in honor of Bella's birthday.  They liked it, but Sophia was quick to note that "it was not as much fun as Aunt Kathy's pony ride" :)  Last year, when we were in NM, we visited Aunt Kathy's horses and she gave the girls a real pony ride :)

Growing up~
I packed a cooler of snacks and we enjoyed them on a blanket under a huge, beautiful oak tree.  Gracia enjoyed just hanging out...this was her view :)

Sweet baby~
Beautiful oak~
Our day was topped off by delicious grilled salmon compliments of Steve the Grillmaster...and cake, ice cream, and presents of course.  I was going to make a cake for Bella, but then she saw this one at the grocery store and really wanted it for her birthday...and I'm still pretty much tired all the time, so not baking sounded like a good idea to me...and it really was a good cake ;)

Birthday girl!
We had a great day...happy birthday, Bella...love you!
