We had the privilege and joy of attending our friend's wedding reception just a few towns away in Colleyville, Texas last month :)

Dave and Steve grew up together in Albuquerque and have been friends since, like, Kindergarten or something :) And somehow they have kept in touch (Dave's good at that) all these years. We lived near each other in Colorado and now we live near each other again in Texas...isn't that cool!

We were thrilled and honored to be invited to celebrate with them...so away we went with our big girls to Colleyville on Friday evening. We had a blast!

The reception was so fun...and being a girl (and having three daughters of my own who may get married one day) I loved noticing all the details. I loved the colors (pink, orange, turquoise!), the decor, the photo lounge (totally fun!), all the photos scattered around, fab food, fun DJ...it was a very fun partay :)
Somehow I ended up at the event with a camera with low batteries. So I took photos with my phone after they died. But then couldn't get some of them to download to my computer (some glitch with my last iPhone update)...so I emailed them to myself, took a photo of the picture in my email, and then downloaded them again...a sure recipe for really poor picture quality.
Seriously, you know how much I love taking pics...still can't believe I didn't have extra batteries...but here's a batch of fun pics, none-the-less :)
